Wood Rots Like We Do
Produced by the British Council and directed by artist Matthew Rosier, this 20 part series of films explores the relationship Japan has with it’s forests and the future of the building materials. I was the videographer for this fascinating project filming interviews and stunning shrines and scenery across Honshu. During pre-production we decided they were all to be filmed portrait in order to best capture the trees and so the viewers could experience the full richness of the shots on their phones.
